Thank you for attending Ontario Stone, Sand and Gravel’s 2024 Lobby Day at Queen’s Park. It was a pleasure to meet each one of you and talk about the vital role our industry plays in Ontario's economy. We touched on a number of key issues our industry is facing, including the looming crisis of high-quality, close-to-market reserves. The projected infrastructure development in Ontario will collectively use millions of tonnes of stone, sand and gravel—which cannot be done without local pits and quarries. We are blessed in Ontario with high-quality, close-to-market product and we look forward to working with each of you to continue to access these resources in a sustainable and economical way.
